The last "Kids in Bavaria" I saw were this group, circa 1979/80, when on a home stay trip to a couple of guys in Wolfratshausen, near Munich

"Hans-A-Plast was a punk bandfromHanover, Germany, founded in1978by Jens Meyer (guitar), Micha Polten (guitar), Renate Baumgart (bass) and Bettina Schröder (drums). A little later, Annette Benjamin joined the formation, which decisively shaped the group with her singing."

Interestingly, the guy whose house I stayed at twice over a couple of years became a bit of a celebrity in Germany - Jürgen Tonkel (born August 23, 1962 in Höhenrain ) is a German actor and director.

The passionate drummer played in the early 1980s in the NDW band IDB (Inner German Relationships) and briefly in the Munich punk band A + P. He played Bruno in the series Blam! about the experiences of a youth band in the 1980s. Blam! was the reason for Tonkel to take various acting courses, e.g. at John Costopoulos .

He has since appeared in more than 50 television productions (e.g. in Hausmeister Krause and in a number of Tatort episodes, and since 2002 as Mayor Schretzmayer of the fictional municipality of Ganting in the ZDF series Die Rosenheim Cops ). Since 2005 he has been appearing repeatedly at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm ( Berlin ) in the comedy Man's Hort . Due to the ongoing success, the ensemble - which also includes Christoph Maria Herbst , Michael Kessler and Bastian Pastewka - went on a nationwide tour in 2008rrosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07316317334203888350noreply@blogger.com
